Why all these recipes?!?


I first started my efforts at collecting and developing recipes using Kennedy Ranch products when I got an outraged call from my butcher - one of my clients had ordered a whole, beautiful steer and had asked the butcher to turn the ENTIRE THING into ground beef. All the steaks, all the roasts, all the short ribs, all the deliciousness... everything.

I don't have anything against ground beef, but...

I called my client - my friend - and asked her why in the world she would order a beef packaged that way, and she told me that she didn't have any clue how to use anything else. So, for her, and for anyone else looking for ways to use good home-grown proteins, veg, fruits and all - here you go.


Literally nothing here is difficult to do. I have little time for futzing at anything, and that includes in the kitchen. I will leave that stuff to others with a lot more patience and talent than I have. But over the years I started answering a lot of cooking questions from customers who asked for tips at our farmer's market booths. Even better, our friends kept tagging us on photos of the fabulous food porn they created in their own kitchens. Kennedy Ranch customers really know how to cook, and it has been a lot of fun trying their ideas.

I have recipes scattered everywhere at this point, and my clients are still sharing their successes, so I'll add to this as I collect more. Enjoy!
